Recently, a good Samaritan’s presence of mind helped to save two surfing enthusiasts. This rescue was carried out in Oregon near Cannon Beach. The USCG Pacific Northwest gave an update about the entire incident in a recent Twitter post shared on 5th March 2023.

The Twitter post shared by the USCG Pacific Northwest reported, “USCG aircrew from Astoria rescued two surfers this afternoon near Ecola State Park in Oregon.” Continuing, the post stated, “A good samaritan heard the men shouting for help and then called 911.”

Later, the post stated, “The men actually grabbed onto some rocks where they were safely hoisted.” With this, the video also demonstrated the daring act of a rescuer wearing a helmet and protective gear, going near the waters to rescue the surfers and bringing them up successfully.
With this, the USCG Pacific Northwest also implied that they were in communication with the Cannon Beach Fire and Rescue Officials at the time of this incident. Reacting to this rescue, comments poured in thanking the USCG Pacific Northwest for its efforts. This was not the only video daring video of a rescue posted. A surfing enthusiast rescued from a gigantic video
The video captured surfing enthusiast Salvador Villas-Boas surfing on a large wave in Portugal. Suddenly, he slipped from his board and fell right into the water. At this difficult moment, luckily fortune favored him and a professional jet skier named Ramon Laureano performed a daring rescue.

The jet skier helped Salvador Villas-Boas onto his jet and attempted to bring him safely to the shore. However, their troubles had just begun. A large wave of 100 feet was rising and as the two moved towards the shore, it struck them with ferocity. With hardly anything visible due to the foam, Ramon and Salvador Villas-Bros struggled to get to the shore. However, they luckily made it safely in the end.
