Recently, a surfing enthusiast named Jason Hines from Sebastian city rescued a girl from drowning. This incident took place at Sebastian Inlet in Brevard County, Florida. Revealing all details of the rescue, Hines also disclosed the girl and her mother’s emotional reaction.
A newsfeed named Sebastian Daily gave all details about the entire incident. This rescue was performed after the National Weather Service had given warnings of rip tides on 13th March 2023. Hines related how he saw the girl swimming in trouble which made him come to rescue.

According to Hines, the girl swam near the jetty and later got alarmed after getting trapped in a rip current. A rip current, also known as a rip tide refers to a strong current that moves far from the shore. Later, Hines noticed the girl struggling against the current and pulled her away from its force. “Got her to the beach”, Hines recounted after the deadly incident. Post this incident, the girl was reunited with her mother.
Further, he narrated, “She and her mom broke out in tears. Made me watery-eyed too.” This indicates how the Sebastian River High school graduate was deeply affected after rescuing the girl. This was not the only daring rescue that took place lately. Recently, a video of the rescue operations of two surfers made headlines.

This rescue took place in Montara State Beach, California on 12th March 2023. Close to 1 pm, two surfers got stuck on the cliff at this beach. As per reports, the two men were trapped in a rip tide, later ending up on the cliff. At this crucial moment, brave firefighters from San Mateo County came to their rescue. A video posted by CAL FIRE CZU on Twitter gave a glimpse of the rescue operation.

The firefighters were able to reach the two men trapped on the cliff, using ropes,. Luckily, the two men sustained no injuries after this incident.
