Laird Hamilton is a daredevil
In 2010, Laird Hamilton profoundly chatted with the Outside. He descriptively answered every question about his personal and professional fronts. At one point, the host recalled an incident from Hamilton’s childhood. When the surfer was eight, he jumped off a 60-foot cliff at Waimea Falls. On this, the surfer said, “I’m missing the gene that tells you ‘it’s dangerous.’

The 58-year-old further shared the life lesson his father used to teach him. “Bill Hamilton said big wave surfers are born and not made”, added Laird. Owing to his father’s lesson, Hamilton continued to indulge himself in courageous tasks since his childhood.
The surfer further expressed his gratitude towards his upbringing in Hawaii. “I was fortunate to be raised in a place like Hawaii where I could use that daredevil trait for functional purposes.”
