After his 2010 debut, he gained significant fame with over 56 wins in the national and international domains. Additionally, the Mountain overpowered the then-defending champion, Brian Shaw to grab the 2018 Arnold Classic Strongman title. Even though Thor retired from competing in 2020, he still shares glimpses of his powerlifts on his social media.
In a recent Instagram post, the 6’9” athlete was seen backlifting a massive 595-lbs bar. Moreover, his insightful caption nuanced his set goals for the next 2 years. The snippet has left fans awestruck. Hence, they retorted to the comments section to convey their reactions.

As per the social media update posted 15 hours ago, the Icelandic pro donned a ‘Thor’s Power” t-shirt, and neatly lifted and squatted with the hefty weights. His impressive feat was further complimented with his descriptive caption, “270kg feeling extremely light on my back today. Weights will go up each week.” It also added his plans for the upcoming years 2023 and 2024. Therefore, fans reacted to it with the following:

Thor’s partial face paralysis
As per a 2017 social media post by Bjornsson, he once revealed he was suffering from Bell Palsy face paralysis. Ahead of Europe’s Strongest Man competitions, the 450-lbs star’s face was paralyzed. Fortunately, it was a temporary condition and didn’t impact his performance to a great extent. However, he admitted to his fans that he won’t be able to smile through the course of his show.

“There was nothing to worry about. That I have caught some virus called Bells Palsy which causes half of my face getting paralysed. It can last from a week to a few months apparently,” he said while addressing the issue.
