The biggest day of 2025 has finally arrived for Alex Morgan. The USWNT icon, who previously announced her pregnancy while simultaneously revealing her retirement from the beautiful game, has now welcomed her second child, Enzo, becoming a mother for the second time. As the news spreads to every corner of the world, fans and players alike are rushing to congratulate the former San Diego Wave star and join in the celebrations.
From being unexpectedly left out of Emma Hayes’ Olympic squad to enduring a disappointing domestic season and ultimately announcing her retirement in an unforeseen manner, Morgan left fans disheartened. Yet, she offered a silver lining with the joyful news of her growing family. Today, that reality has officially come true as she finally gave birth to her baby boy.
The update came via her Instagram, where she shared a collaboration post with her husband, Servando Carrasco. Posting a couple of black-and-white filtered pictures, she included a snap of her adorable baby’s feet and tiny hands holding one of her fingers. Additionally, she wrote a caption alongside the post saying, “Soaking it all up right now. Welcome to the world baby Enzo🩵”

Notably, even in pregnancy, Morgan didn’t stop working. Since hanging up her boots, she only got more involved in off-pitch activities, like making constant guest appearances in the Unrivaled league or the Tomorrow’s Golf League (TGL)—a golf league created by TMRW. Primarily, aside from making preparations for the arrival of her new baby, she was also seen enjoying some time in the mountains with her daughter Charlie and husband Servando in the mountains, making the most of snowfall.
Of course, she did all of this with a big baby bump. But now, her date was officially due as she finally welcomed a new member. Certainly, with this news, congratulations and celebrations had to be in order for the iconic forward.

Well, how could her former teammates be left behind? Abby Dahlkemper wrote, “Congrats Al!!” Meanwhile, defender Ali Krieger sent her best wishes to the entire family, “OMGGGG!! Congrats! Sending you four so much love and can’t wait to meet baby Enzo🥰❤️.” Other former USWNT teammates, including Mallory Swanson, Sofia Huerta, Becky Sauerbrunn, also sent in similar messages. Well, it will be a while before little Enzo realizes how famous his mom and her friends are. But when he does, it will be quite the moment.
And given the impact his mom had on the pitch, a fan comment saying, “Baby Goat🐐💙” was hardly a surprise. Then again, none of them tops the comment Kelley O’Hara left: “Left foot already looks lucky!!”
