In alignment with soccer, the goal-scoring characteristic of Water Polo intrigued the Norwegian striker very much. Recently, his fans could see Haaland being candid with Pro Recco’s team member on ‘X'(formerly Twitter).

World Aquatics took to its ‘X’ handle to post an adorable gift exchange moment between the soccer star and a water polo entity. Pro Recco, the most celebrated water polo team in the world, shared some picture perfect moments with Manchester City players, especially Erling Haaland. The post was captioned Would you have him on your #waterpolo team?” The video features Haaland handing over jersey number 9 to a person, who has not been identified. Subsequently, he receives a water polo cap as a return gift.?

In a similar Instagram post, Pro Recco applauded Haaland’s supremacy, calling him a “Goal machine”. With three hat tricks in just 8 games, Erling has smashed Michael Owen’s 48-league games record. However, there’s another side to him, not known to most.

Haaland’s ascent at just 5

Hailing from a sporting family, Erling has walked in this father’s footsteps to play in the Premier League. Due to his enormous size, his team mates named him ‘Man-Child’ during his early years. Moreover, there’s another jewel to his athletic name, which is still standing strong. At just 5 years of age, the lethal striker leapt 1.63m in standing long jump.
