The words were by hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, who said, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take”. Fans gave a new perspective to the quote when they began relating it to the match.

Evidently, fans were mad at their favorite team for missing goals. In the end, the Netherlands won the game by 3-1 against the USMNT, and knocked them out of the ongoing FIFA World Cup.
