The soccer star Megan replied to Joe La Puma, “Michael Jordan was my hero. I had the life-sized cardboard, I would rip the pages out of Sports Illustrated and pin them on the wall everywhere. I just tried to emulate everything he did. It was just ridiculous.”
As she described, having the shoes made her feel magnificent and on top of the world. As a result of Jordan’s charitable work, Michael is, without a doubt, an inspirational icon. Jordan once donated the entire salary of a season to a charity dedicated to 9/11. In addition, he has donated to many hurricane relief charities from time to time.
