The soccer superstar has given years to see what really works for her body and how she can perform at the optimum level.

The FIFA player of the year finalist, Alex Morgan, is the backbone of the US women’s national team. She has been a part of the team in every major victory, be it the Olympics or the FIFA world cups. Alex has led her team to wonderful opportunities throughout her career with the USWNT.

In sports, the most important thing for an athlete is to know how their body works. Although sometimes when you are new to the team, you often tend to follow others. Morgan said, “Early in my career, I would look at the person to the right and the left of me, what they were eating and think that’s what I needed to eat.”

Talking about her body and the ways she fuels it, Morgan further added, “I have a really good relationship with my body and understanding what it needs and nourishing it in the right way.”

“That comes with years of experience, but you have to start somewhere, and I think a lot of female athletes aren’t given that support early in their career.”
