

Shaun White is an athlete who is loved by all. In fact, his fan following is not just confined to humans, he has some other secret admirers as well. The snowboarding champion recently bid farewell to the sport he has dominated for over 20 years. Beijing Winter Olympics 2022 was the last time he entered a snowboarding halfpipe event. Sadly, he couldn’t make his ending as incredible as his entire snowboarding career was. But nevertheless, he retires a champion.

The 35-year-old American finished in fourth place in his final run at the Beijing Winter Olympics. Teary-eyed, he received a standing ovation from his fellow snowboarders, as fans cheered him on one last time. He couldn’t win a medal at his last Olympics, but with a rather glorious career, he leaves behind a legacy that will live on forever.

Cats love watching Shaun White do his tricks
In his final run at the Olympics, while the entire world was glued to their TV sets to watch Shaun White, some cats caught enjoying his performance on the screen too. The legend even shared a video on his Twitter handle in which a cat is trying to catch him through the TV screen while he is performing his snowboarding tricks.

While no one can really explain why cats are so fond of the Olympic champion, he himself has a French Bulldog named Steve. He shares a lot of pictures with him on his social media handle and is a perfect companion to him.
