Shaun White’s comparison to Tom Brady

In an interview, Dan Patrick asked Shaun White, “are you officially retired?” and the legend responded, “I am, yeah, which is so wild to say, I’m 35 you know I guess older in the sport of snowboarding but I still feel like I got a lot to look forward.”

His answer led to the comparison between him and NFL legend, Tom Brady, who retired at 44. The 35-year-old retired snowboarder replied, “I guess when I think about it if you’re throwing the ball and you’re off a few inches or so it’s not as bad as when you’re 20 feet in the air looking at this…going this isn’t good.”

He further added, “When I’m flying through air…everything slows down…it’s kind of like when you hit a ball or do that shot and you just know you messed up right away so you have all that time in the air to think about ‘wow okay do I want to land on my back or why did I get into this situation in the first place,’ so yeah it’s not good.”
