Nick Baumgartner recently claimed his first-ever Olympic gold medal in the mixed-doubles snowboarding competition at the age of 40; hence, proving that age is just a number. He, along with Lindsey Jacobellis, won the gold medal for the competition. An incredible personality in the snowboarding world, his passion kept him going forward and helped him achieve greatness in the snowboarding world.

However, there’s another fascinating thing about Nick. A lot of people on Twitter focused on his mannerisms and compared the way he talks to the American actor Will Ferrell. Thus, NBC heard their cries and put forward a hilarious clip of him mimicking Ferrell.

Nick Baumgartner mimics Will Ferrell

One of the greatest comedic minds in Hollywood, Ferrell is known for his brilliance in dialogue delivery and timing. His work on Saturday Night Live earned him an Emmy nomination as he rose through the ranks.

The similarities between Nick and Will?prompted NBC to create a compilation of famous one-liners by Ferrell as Baumgartner spoke exactly the way he did.

He got started Ferrell with his famous “You stay Classy, San Diego!”?from the Anchorman, which was hilarious to watch. His facial expressions were similar to Ferrell’s in the legendary movie.

He also did other scenes from the movies like Elf, Step Brothers, and Wedding Crashers. In the end, he gave a sly smile, exactly how Ferrell does. It was hilarious to watch the gold medal winner from the Beijing Winter Olympics putting on a great show for his fans.

Baumgartner became the oldest gold medal winner across all the events in snowboarding, making him an absolute legend. Moreover, for an experienced competitor like him, it was incredible to be able to grab his first gold as he talked about the experience.

“That’s something about being the veterans … we’ve had so many heats under our belt that we have to ride so close to people, and in conditions like this, the draft is so important and you have to be able to stay in it until the absolute possible last second. That doesn’t scare us because we’ve done it so many times,” said Baumgartner.
