US Olympic Gold Medalist Chloe Kim Gets a Special Invite From Duke of Sussex Prince Harry

The pressure on athletes to perform well in the Olympics sometimes turns into mental stress. Social media trolls and heavy training also play an important part in their stress. Chloe Kim is one such athlete who was suffering from mental health issues after Olympics.  

Snowboarder Chloe Kim is a two-time gold medal winner. However, the previous years were tough for Chloe, and now in 2022, she has taken a break from competitions. She has taken inspiration from Simone Biles and Naomi Osaka, who withdrew their names from competitions. Now her hard work has led her to glide into the royal family.

During the MLB All-star Celebrity Softball game 2022, Chloe Kim was questioned by Access Hollywood. They asked her about her meeting with Prince Harry and how well he is about mental health awareness. Chloe replied, “He’s such a kind person like really makes you feel like you’re the only person in the room when you’re speaking to him, so it was really cool.” 

Chloe also talked about her invitation from the royal family. The reporter asked if she wanted to meet Prince Harry’s kids. To that, Chloe replied that they have invited her. Chloe said, “They did invite me, so I will probably head over there soon. I would love too.” She added, “If they need a coach, I’m here.”

Chloe was glowing with every word she spoke, and she was happy to get the opportunity to meet the royal family. 

Kim also shares how important it is to speak about your mental health. Doing this can make other people comfortable and encourage them to seek help.

She called the royal family beautiful and wished them the best. It would be amazing to see Chloe teaching Harry and Meghan’s kids snowboarding.

A few days ago, Chloe Kim was interviewed by Prince Harry in mental health start-up ButterUp. There, Prince Harry questioned her about her pressure. She explained how good she is at explaining her feelings; if she were not, it would have jeopardized her health. 

She also added that it can be unrealistic if her mental health is not good and she is still trying her best to perform. However, people started trolling her on social media when Chloe withdrew her name from the Olympics.
