Fitness levels these days are improving steadily when compared to the past. Most people find new techniques to stay healthy, especially pro athletes, who develop new methods. Be it Cristiano Ronaldo sitting in the sun for 30 minutes or Caeleb Dressel practicing his unique vertical jump skills, everybody wants to improve their physical stature. According to a poll, 73% of the people discontinue their New Year exercise resolutions. In the beginning, they look motivated to do wonders. But as time passes, the same is not the case. However, this app called ‘Masters’ claims to solve that problem.
Shaun White to the rescue
Excelling in the sport for decades together, White has trained beyond measures to become the legend he is today. At 35, he qualified for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics for his signature half-pipe competition. Notably, while the incredible White is aiming to win his fourth Olympic gold medal, he is also helping people to figure out different training routines. The founder of the app, Greg Drach, spoke about the impact that this app can have on the masses.
“Pro athletes actually calculate this idea extremely well because they don’t train just to train—they train to be able to perform and succeed in their specific disciplines. There’s a lot of research to show that if you model your routine after somebody who’s been successful, then you’re more likely to establish healthy habits for yourself and remain engaged over a longer period of time,” said Drach.
The founder of the app spoke about athletes being committed to their workout routines for a long time. Apart from White, other athletes to join the party are NBA star JJ Redick and WNBA all-star A’ja Wilson. By receiving around $2.7 million funding led by Sweet Capital, the app is expected to make it big in the market.
