It’s been a month since Shaun White retired from snowboarding. Despite not winning a fourth Olympic gold medal, he bowed out to a standing ovation from fans, and other athletes in attendance. The snowboarding circuit lost a true legend. However, he has returned to snowboarding and the man can’t take time away from his beloved sport. White has reached Dubai after the Oscars and can be seen snowboarding at Ski Dubai.

The ski resort in Dubai is one of the most famous indoor ski parks in the world. Apart from offering a host of other recreational activities, they have an 85-meter-high indoor mountain inside the arena. Hence, White is seen showing off his snowboarding skills.
Shaun White returns to snowboarding
White attended the Oscars with Tony Hawk and Kelly Slater to give a tribute to James Bond’s 60th anniversary. After that, he flew to Dubai to have some fun at the Ski Dubai center. In his latest Instagram story, White launched himself from the slope to do a simple trick. He hasn’t lost a touch at all. The sensational snowboarder is on a holiday and has been traveling to various destinations around the world. He posted an Instagram story where he tagged the location.
White and Dobrev took a vacation to Costa Rica recently where he surfed on the beaches. But, it is always great to see White on a snowboard. The three-time Olympic gold medalist is often regarded as the GOAT of snowboarding. He won medals in the 2006, 2010, and 2018 Winter Olympics. And dominated the events from start to finish and bowed out in style at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. However, when asked whether he would return to competitive snowboarding, White responded he won’t.

After Tom Brady made a u-turn to get back to the NFL, he alerted many athletes to put on their boots and work towards making a comeback. As for Shaun, he spoke recently about how he was not motivated enough to come back to the sport and decided to stay retired.
“So many people messaged me his like, ‘I belong on the field,’ I was like, ‘ugh, do I belong on the snow? I don’t know. I need a minute. I’m enjoying every bit of this, so, it would take me a bit longer to get re-motivated to do something like that, but no I’m gonna enjoy this. I’m done. I’m good,” said White.
