The 2022 Oscars saw a lot of memorable moments with some bizarre incidents as well. Although Will Smith’s altercation with Chris Rock grabbed most headlines, there were some other moments in the show which were thoroughly incredible. This year, Shaun White attended the ceremony with his lovely mother and even paid tribute to James Bond on his 60th anniversary.
In a truly iconic moment, the star was also spotted posing for the cameras alongside fellow legends, Serena and Venus Williams.

The trio was joined by Kelly Slater and Tony Hawk for the picture. Adding to the extravagance of the night, the 5 stars stole the limelight with their smiles and definitely with looking their absolute best.
Shaun White looked stunning
Sporting a stunning black suit, with shoes, and a bow tie, White was dressed to impress. Moreover, he even wore an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch to go with it.
Understandably, the highlight of the show was when the sporting GOATs stood with each other and posed for the iconic photo. NBC Sports gave a special shout-out to them on social media with a catchy caption as well.

Each of the famous five has played an important role in influencing younger generations to take up their respective sports. Throughout her career so far, Serena Williams has won 23 grand slams and is regarded as the GOAT in tennis. While Venus has lesser titles than Serena, she remains a force to be reckoned with, boasting an immaculate doubles record.

Tony Hawk and Kelly Slater at the Oscars
Along with these three, Tony Hawk and Kelly Slater were also presenters at the ceremony. Slater is a stunning surfer and is regarded as the greatest surfer in the sport. The same goes for Hawk, who is a legendary skateboarder.
Hawk, Slater, and White paid tribute to James Bond’s 60th-anniversary celebration, while the film ‘King Richard’, which celebrated the rise of Serena and Venus in the tennis circuit, saw its lead, Will Smith, take home the best actor award.

Even though marred by controversy, Will’s win is only a reminder of what a cinematic masterpiece King Richard is. An inspirational tale about the journey of two tennis greats, the movie is a must-watch for any and every sports fan.
