Shaun White and Nina Dobrev Might Have Dropped a Major Hint on Their Wedding

Retired snowboarder Shaun White and his relationship with his girlfriend, actor Nina Dobrev, has been on an upward trajectory. Since they went official in May 2020, the couple has been all over the internet for their supportive and heartwarming interactions.

After a post made by White, it seems the relationships may be getting more serious than we thought.

It appears the Olympian-Actor duo has taken their relationship to the next level. White posted pictures of the couple on a dinner outing with Nina Dobrev’s parents. He even captioned the post, “Meet the parents”.

Could it be that an engagement announcement is coming soon from the couple? Just a few days ago, Dobrev and White made a dashing appearance at the premiere of ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ in London. Their red carpet debut made headlines, and White’s subsequent comment on the same drove fans crazy.

He posted pictures of their red carpet looks and captioned them, “Thank you to the Royal Family, Kate and William for attending our wedding—- I mean, the Top Gun Premiere 😜. What a wild night!!”

He may have made the post in jest, but it didn’t stop fans from hoping. Now, with officially meeting Nina’s parents, perhaps it’s no leap to assume that the pair is ready for a serious commitment. They have been open about their relationship since the beginning, and suffice to say, we are invested.

The White-Dobrev relationship timeline

The two started dating in the middle of quarantine. They were formally introduced in 2019, and by March next year, there were already rumors about their relationship. In May, Nina confirmed the rumors by posting a set of pictures of her giving White a haircut.

They even spent months giving Dobrev’s home a makeover in quarantine, further solidifying their bond. They have both been publicly supportive of each other’s endeavors, featuring in social media updates of the other. Dobrev even threw the snowboarder a ‘Flying Tomato’ themed retirement party.

Since White’s retirement after the Beijing Winter Olympics this year, the couple has been enjoying Shaun’s cleared-out schedule. They’ve been on vacation across the world, hitting Costa Rica, Greece, and even attending Coachella. If the two are indeed entering that phase in their relationship, then the fans are eagerly awaiting news of when they will be tying the knot.
