After the 2022 Winter Olympics, White, who has been a snowboarder since he was 6, retired as the sport’s greatest champion. After retirement, he began his own snowboard manufacturing company alongside other ventures. A special film honoring his entire career is set to be released which was showered with much love by his girlfriend.

Dobrev took it to her Instagram and posted a story to repost a reel by @streamonmax and @shaunwhite announcing “Shaun White: The Last Run,” a new TV show that will recount White’s life journey. She captions her story, saying, “I Just Got Chills,” emphasizing the details as she wrote, “July 6th on @streamonmax.” White is set to appear on Red Bull TV and will webcast the show, which will be produced by Teton Gravity Research. The three-part series will focus on the snowboarder and skateboarder’s impact on sports and beyond and feature exclusive personal archival videos.

The series will offer viewers a personal peek into White’s life, including his early years, his ascent to prominence, and the decision to quit competing in professional snowboarding. It will also follow White as he makes the transition from being a professional athlete to a full-time company owner and highlight his love of snowboarding. Interactive interviews with White’s family, friends, and other athletes will also be seen in the series. The series premiers on July 6 on Max and is already garnering so much love from fans of the athlete and his Vampire Diaries actress girlfriend.

All the love and admiration he is about to get is well-deserved given his many victories as the greatest athlete. He certainly had it all planned out from the beginning, from becoming a professional snowboarder, skateboarder, and devoted boyfriend setting relationship goals to creating a lasting legacy in his 30s. The Double McTwist 1260, a previously unthinkable move, was also created by him. His career’s greatest moments are some of the best records, making him a top cross-sports winner.

A Glance into Shaun White’s historic career

White switched from being an amateur to a professional when he was 13 years old. He won five national titles while competing on the amateur circuit, making him a prodigy. He has won a total of 10 ESPY Awards throughout his career in various categories. He is a five-time Olympian and three-time Olympic gold medalist in snowboarding’s half-pipe. White had also started his own video game series named Shaun White Snowboarding, which has his own design published by Ubisoft Montreal.
