He has gained a considerable fortune by participating in snowboarding events. A few years ago, White bought a giant mansion-like house in Malibu. He eventually listed it for sale, but the three-bedroom, ocean-front home made him suffer a loss of money. Despite having ravishing features, the 2,164-square-foot house went out for almost $5 million less than the original asking price.
Staggering price drop of luxurious Malibu house
Shaun purchased this exquisite property in 2016, but he listed it for sale in 2019 for $12.75 million. But with various issues like COVID-19 affecting the economy, its price dropped to $10.995 million in 2020.
Later in 2020, the last price for the Malibu house was listed at $8 million, around $5 million less than the original price, and around $2 million less than what Shaun paid. However, looking at the lavish house, this listed price will look normal. Features like the hardwood floor, speak the language of elegance.
In addition, it has white walls, wide windows opening toward the ocean, and three bedrooms paired with two bathrooms. Meanwhile, the kitchen, the fireplace in the living room, and the breakfast nook make it all the more dazzling.
The original house was built in 1948. Since then, from time to time, it has been remodeled with shimmering details. CNBC’s Listing Impossible series reality star Aaron Kirman handles the listing of this house. However, the loss appears minor considering the snowboarder’s net worth.

As per Celebrity Net Worth, Shaun’s approximate salary was $10 million a year when he was a professional snowboarder. In addition, he has a 10-year multi-million-dollar endorsement deal with Burton Snowboards while being a partner with Oakley, Hewlett-Packard, Target, and Ubisoft. Interestingly, he got his first endorsement deal when he was just 7 years old.
Apart from this, Shaun also has his brand called White Space. When the brand launched, White released a limited range of signed snowboards. Starting with the snowboards, his company plans to launch its sportswear range.
