Danny Davis, one of White’s teammates, once spoke about an incident where the iconic snowboarder was kind to him. Furthermore, the athlete shared that being friends with Shaun White might be a good option.
Danny Davis wants to be White’s friend
Shaun White’s words left an impression on Danny Davis’ heart. The athlete has immense respect for White and would love to have a bond both on and off the court.
“I would love to get him to be our friend and get into the snowboard world more. I think for him, he’s such a celebrity, the snowboarding world is small,” Davis continued. “He’s bigger than it. It’s easy to target him, hate him because he’s the best.“
White is one such sports person whose dedication to accomplishing his goals is firm. No matter how one feels about White, his talent and skills never go unnoticed.

Teammate and competitor Danny Davis once shared an incident that was way beyond shocking for him. White’s inviting gesture not only startled him but also made him feel contented. This happened during the announcement of Team USA’s halfpipe team.

Davis broke his back and pelvis after he drunkenly crashed an ATV. Due to this, the athlete missed the Vancouver Games earlier.
“He said something really nice to me when the [2014] Olympic team was being announced: ‘It’s really nice to have you here this time around. We missed you last time. We’re going to have a lot of fun in Sochi.’ That’s one of the nicer things he’s ever said to me.” said White’s teammate Davis.
