Fresh Off Olympic Podium Chloe Kim Reveals Plans on Becoming Best Player of Another Exciting Sport

Further, she revealed how she is preparing herself to become the best in what she does. Aiming to become a world champion, Kim opened up about her goal of becoming a world class gamer.

Developed by Epic Games, Fortnite is one of the most famous games in the world. The game is all about survival of the fittest as around 100 players, fight against each other in combat, aiming to become the last man standing. It is widely popular around the world and around 350 million people played the game in 2021. Even though she plays Fortnite, she claimed she had to improve.

“I’ve actually tried to play Fortnite for a few years now, but I’m just not good at it. I’m honestly waiting for Fortnite to send me a coach because I need proper training. But my boyfriend loves playing the game, so he’s been playing a bunch in my outfit, which has been fun to watch,” said Kim.

Kim jokingly spoke about her boyfriend playing the game for hours and how she wants to get to a better level. A two-time Olympic gold medalist and a Fortnite champion, Kim’s targets are locked on!

“I personally love games like Mario Kart, but I really do want to become good at Fortnite because it looks like so much fun. When my boyfriend plays, he gets so into it and I lose him for hours. I’ll start my training soon to become the best Fortnite player in the world,” said Kim.

As Fortnite includes a list of celebrities in the game, Chloe Kim has received her own skin in the game. Epic Games announced the decision on March 26th and Kim would have four different color schemes. Tennis star Naomi Osaka, NBA superstar LeBron James, and other famous celebrities have gotten skins with the game.
