For example, his role in the 2011 film ‘Friends With Benefits alongside Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis is certainly a fan favorite. With his long flowing red hair that earned him the nickname ‘Flying Tomato’, watching the Olympic champion absolutely flip out on Timberlake’s character is one for the books.

Throwback to Shaun White playing himself

In the movie ‘Friends With Benefits’, Shaun White’s role may not be complicated as he plays his shining snowboarding superstar self, but his personality certainly took a turn. White embodies the character of Mila Kunis’ enraged friend that really wants to beat up Justin Timberlake.

In 2018, he even posted a throwback on Facebook, tagging Justin Timberlake with the caption, “Anyone remember this? Hahaha”. The clip he attached was a scene from the movie where Timberlake’s character meets White for the first time.

After an awkward attempt at snowboarding humor from Timberlake, White absolutely loses it and flips out. “Jamie, you wanna get this guy out of my face before I break his skull?” is the first line that throws off pretty much everyone watching.

His character goes on to say some aggressive yet hilariously confusing lines like, “Don’t talk like you know me. What, you think I’m all chill cause I snowboard? One more word and I’ll f*** you up like dynamite.”

Fortunately, it seems that the movie-Shaun White was just joking around, as he claims any friend of Jamie’s (Mila Kunis) is good with him. But the scene ends with a deceptively friendly hug and White whispers a threatening, “I’m whispering in the ear of a dead man!”

Though White’s role is pretty small, he does make another appearance later in the movie, keeping with his hostile character towards Timberlake. Of course, ‘Friends With Benefits’ isn’t the snowboarder’s only commercial project.
