Snowboarding sensation Shaun White recently made an appearance with his girlfriend, actor Nina Dobrev, at the London premiere of ‘Top Gun: Maverick’. Since the Instagram announcement of their relationship in May 2020, they finally made their red carpet debut yesterday.

The couple’s appearance made headlines as one of the stars of the movie is none other than Dobrev’s ex-boyfriend, Glen Powell. But with the push of one button, White has shifted our attention to something new entirely.

White posted a plethora of pictures on his Instagram story, sharing snapshots of the event. The couple can be seen with Miles Teller’s wife, Keleigh Sperry Teller, having the time of their life at the event. White also shared pictures of their red carpet look in a post.

White captioned his post, “Thank you to the Royal Family, Kate and William for attending our wedding—- I mean, the Top Gun Premiere 😜. What a wild night!!” And with the word ‘wedding’ in there, of course, the fans went crazy.

It seems that White’s post confused a lot of us. Fans wrote about their reactions in the comments, saying, “I got so excited for a second 😂.”  With them dressed in all white, perhaps it wasn’t a leap to assume the best? Another comment read, “The way I zoomed in to see a ring hahahaha 💍 💎.”

While the day may not have arrived yet when we see an engagement announcement from the couple, just the notion paints quite the picture. And more people agree than we might have thought! “Can’t wait for the actual wedding☺️” and “Make 👏 the damn 👏 proposal 👏already! Hahahaah we are waiting!” embodied a common theme in the comments.

The actor-Olympian duo drew the most eyes on the red carpet with their outstanding fits and incredible chemistry. For fans, they were the royalty, as a comment read, “You two smoke shows out there showing up the royals, how rude 😉.”
