“Always Hobbling Around”- Dangly Snowboarder Lindsey Vonn Compared Shaun White to a Mystical Fictional Character

Alpine Ski racer Lindsey Vonn, with 82 victories in the World Cup began her journey at the age of 14. And made her Olympic debut at Salt lake city, Utah’s Winter Olympics in 2002. However, skiing was not her first choice, Like skiing, from a wide variety of snow sports; Lindsey has tried snowboarding, but it does not result well. But there are times when she appreciated the GOAT of Snowboarding, Shaun White.

There were several times when Lindsey appreciated White for his hard work. When Shaun retired after the 2022 Winter Olympics, Vonn shared her picture with Shaun and congratulated him on his retirement. 

Once Lindsey gave an interview to Time, where she was questioned if she had ever tried snowboarding. Vonn replied, “I have, and I was bad at it. I don’t like the feeling of having my feet stuck together.”

Speaking on snowboarding, Vonn gave a remark about Shaun saying, “My husband and I were watching [snowboarder] Shaun White, and we were saying that he’s like Yoda in Star Wars, who’s always hobbling around and then in the fight scene goes crazy. That’s what Shaun does. He’s agile. It’s not easy, what he does. I couldn’t do it.”
