The friendship between the skier and a tennis player started when Iga’s sports psychologist Daria Abramowicz said, “Be like Mikaela Shiffrin.” Of course, being Mikaela Shiffrin is not everyone’s cup of tea, but the Olympic champion is surely a great inspiration for many. After that, the 20-year-old Iga Swiatek followed Mikaela on social media and yet another sports friendship blossomed.
