Taking to her official Twitter account, Shiffrin captioned her post as “A little update from my side about this weekend’s speed series in Altenmarkt Zauchensee.’’ Apart from sharing the details regarding the upcoming weekend event, the World Cup winner also showed her appreciation as she has been getting huge support from her fans. She added, “Thanks, everyone, for your support as always!🙏❤️’’

Writing a note about her health update, the 28-year-old US formidable skier revealed that unfortunately, she has not recovered from the cold. So, Mikaela decided to spend time on Zauchensee to regain her strength. Apart from this, Shiffrin also disclosed that she is focusing on preparing for the upcoming hectic weeks in Flachau, Jasna, Cortina, and Kornplatz. She further added in her post that she was disappointed to miss out on Zauchensee since it was her major goal to be able to race that hill once more.
Shiffrin continued, ”It’s such a cool combo of fun and challenging I am not in a place to tackle that right now. So it goes!” In addition to it, she also expressed her anticipation to watch and cheer for her teammates racing at Zauchensee.
