Lindsey Vonn is an athlete who is too good to be just for skiing. She is someone who always loves action and the thrill of being alive. Perhaps this is the reason every sport wants Lindsey to be a part of their team. Did you know there was a chance she could have been a formula one driver? The skiing legend Lindsey Vonn is not one of those boring athletes who suddenly disappears as they retire. In fact, even after three years of her retirement, she is still one of the topmost talked about sports celebrities in the world.
Why did Lindsey Vonn decline the formula one offer?
One can almost imagine Lindsey coursing through the formula one circuit with her undaunting skills, just like Lewis Hamilton. She is very competitive when it comes to sports and perhaps she would have been a perfect fit for the racetrack. Unfortunately, the offer made to the skiing legend was not on the same page as her and the world missed a spectacular formula one driver.
Talking about her opportunity, she said, “I was thinking about switching and going on to the Formula 1. Like actually trying to be a racer, a driver. But I couldn’t because they wanted me to commit. It was three years, and they were like you can’t get pregnant, you can’t do anything and I am like I don’t know if I really wanna do that. But that something definitely gonna be like very exciting for me. Like personally.”
