Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods’ relationship is one for the books. The couple dated for 2 years and were in the news multiple times during their relationship. However, despite a great relationship, the couple parted ways in 2015.
However, Lindsey’s relationship with Tiger isn’t the only one that got her attention. The skier’s dating history is quite known. Before Woods, Lindsey Vonn was married to Thomas Vonn. Both of them were skiers and met back in 2002. They fell in love and married in 2007.

After parting ways with Thomas, Vonn was linked with Tiger just a few months later. Thomas Vonn however, probably didn’t take this all too well. He made it clear when he took a subtle dig at Woods after his drop penalty.

Lindsey Vonn’s ex takes a dig at Tiger Woods

When Lindsey and Tiger were in a relationship, she was often spotted at Woods’ matches. One time, she also surprised Woods by bringing his kids along with her. The couple also frequented many awards shows together.

Going into the 2013 Masters, Tiger Woods was the No.1 Golfer in the world. However, in the Finals, he faced a penalty after a bad drop. This drop penalty was faced with much criticism. And even though he was allowed to keep playing, he fell behind.

One of these critics was none other than Thomas Vonn, the ex-husband of Tiger Woods’ then-girlfriend Lindsey Vonn. Thomas took to Twitter to share the news of Woods’ penalization and took a dig at the champion golfer. Not just Vonn, many people accused Tiger of cheating. Notably, he moved the ball back a few feet from where he originally meant to take the shot after it had rolled into the water. It was only later that both officials and Woods realized that he had committed a penalty.

Why did Vonn not change her surname?

After being together for more than 6 years, Lindsey Vonn and Thomas Von parted ways in January 2013. She was just 23 years old then. After her divorce, Lindsey Vonn decided to keep Thomas’s surname. Earlier, she was Lindsey Kildow. But why did Lindsey not change her surname back?

“People come to races to see Lindsey Vonn. It’s my stage name. It’s who I am on the hill. Maybe I’ll change it back when I retire,” said Lindsey.

She also opened up about getting married so young and said she probably should not have done it. She added that she would probably change her surname when she got married again.
