Lindsey Vonn has had an eventful career in alpine skiing. After all, 82 World Cup victories do not qualify for any other description. Those victories came at a hidden cost. After tearing her lateral collateral ligament, she underwent a number of knee surgeries post her retirement. She had to undergo one more recently.

After the surgery, Lindsey Vonn returned to her normal post-retirement life as best she could. As part of that, she shared a series of images on her social media. The uploads found her fan following in a cheery mood. Vonn rang in Thanksgiving without her family on this occasion.
