She visited camp arrow wood a coed sports sleepaway camp located in the Berkshires, Massachusetts. It caters to kids who have a passion for sports and offers a distinctive combination of sports like basketball, baseball, soccer, tennis, and with exploratory activities like arts, outdoor adventure, and waterfront activities. The five-time overall world champion was impressed with the activities and energy of the camp which she shared on social media.

Mikaela Shiffrin’s Camp Arrow Wood Visit as Youth Ambassador

Last weekend, the seven-time world cup winner joined the Camp Arrow Wood team as a youth ambassador with her family. The news was shared on her official Instagram page. On it, she shared her and her family’s feelings about the visit in the caption. She wrote, “What struck our family most about this camp is that it’s a sports camp with an emphasis on core values and the development of good humans.”

She also explained why she felt so when informed that her parents raised her and her brother in a sports culture. Therefore, the camp mantras and mission resonate with her deeply.  She further wrote that where sports and spirit unite, that empowers the young kids to experience less familiar interests besides exploring their individual passion. In the camp, Shiffrin met and chatted with campers and gave autographs. The Olmpian’s camp visit received huge appreciation in the form of lovely comments and over 25,000 likes.
