Skiing legend Lindsey Vonn has always spoken freely about things that she considers are not right. Hence, when Fox News journalist Laura Ingraham tried to target the NBA GOAT LeBron James and Kevin Durant for their political stand, she slammed Laura for her derogatory remark. She was part of the athlete group who proudly stood in support of the Cavaliers’ superstar matter.

Earlier, Fox News host Laura Ingraham commented on her show that she is not interested in hearing political advice from “someone who gets paid $100 million a year to bounce a ball.” Given that LeBron James is one of the most celebrated NBA players of all time. Reacting to this the fans didn’t take her remark lightly. Subsequently, the journalist received wide criticism on social media, including from the Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn.

Standing in solidarity with LeBron James and Kevin Durant, Vonn replied, “Laura Ingraham, you are the problem. What @drewbrees said is ok but what @KDTrey5 and @KingJames said is not. It’s time that you look at yourself in the mirror. #EqualityMatters #EqualRights”

It’s obvious from Vonn’s reply that she was quite furious about Laura’s comment. The skier highlighted that, as a citizen, every individual has the right to have a political opinion. However, it’s not the first time she stood up for fellow athletes. She has done that on countless occasions. Though, this time it was also about standing against something that she felt wasn’t right.

Vonn on Trump presidency
Just before taking part in the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, Lindsey made a statement about the former president. She said, “Well I hope to represent the people of the United States, not the president. I take the Olympics very seriously and what they mean and what they represent, what walking under our flag means in the opening ceremony.”
In her final Olympics, the American skier won a bronze medal and made her country proud again.
