Mikaela Shiffrin, the reigning Olympic alpine skier, welcomed two athletes into her financial circle. This year seems to be favoring Shiffrin, who became the Winningest Female Giant Slalom Skier. Being at the top is what she does now. Her identity has grown bigger than the sport and onto cross-industries. Last year when she was busy climbing up the success ladder, the U.S. Alpine Team added Stifel to their title, signing a four-year partnership. As a result, all elite skiing races in North America adopted the investment banking company’s name. The first-ever collab benefitted Shiffrin, Ryan Cochran-Siegle, and Breezy Johnson while supporting them through every level.

Her brand expanded this year as she rose to the top, making her the face of the alpine skiing community. Shiffrin joined in the ad and gave them her full support as the brand welcomed its newest athletic stars.

Shiffrin is a shining star this year and her partnerships are skyrocketing using her fame. In the sports team X finance brand collab recently, Stifel posted a video on their Instagram where Shiffrin shared a beautiful welcome message reflecting her excitement. As part of the brand’s ongoing commitment to sponsoring young athletes, soccer rising fames Alyssa (18 years old) and Gisele Thompson (17 years old) joined the tribe.

This year alone, the girls entered the U.S. National Youth teams along with the prestigious Southern California club Total Futbol Academy, where they played for the club’s boys’ MLS NEXT team. After enrolling at Stanford University in early 2023, Alyssa decided to play as a pro, balancing her studies. Angel City FC chose Alyssa with the first overall pick in the NWSL Draught, making her the first high school student ever chosen in the league. Interestingly, it was only in September 2022 that Alyssa made her U.S. Women’s National Team debut.

Similar to Shiffrin, the sisters are cementing their image in their sports by putting their names beyond reach. Last year, with Nike’s partnership, they became the first high school athletes to sign NIL deals. Their significance puts them in the handful of athletes in the country who participate and show commitment to soccer so early on. While their portfolios were stacking up, Shiffrin also added a few more titles to her name this year.
