He also won two Olympic medals at the Beijing Winter Olympics, showcasing his talents on the biggest stage. As for Shiffrin, despite ranking lower than Vlhova in the prize money department, she leads the way for the current World Cup standings.

Shiffrin leads the way

Lenzerheide, Switzerland saw a fantastic competition where Shiffrin is back to her best. She finished fourth in the giant slalom competition to stretch her lead in the rankings and solidified her position. With six?events?to go, she?leads?the way with 1156 points over Vlhova’s 1039. Hence, winning the event would be sensational for her achievements.

Although the prize money rankings are led by Vlhova, Shiffrin will hope to win the World Cup title at the end of the Alpine Skiing season. She is currently performing better than she did at the Winter Olympics.
