Sharing the stage with him will be his close friend and snowboarding legend Shaun White, DJ Khaled, and surfer Kelly Slater. The star-studded evening is something every fan is eagerly awaiting.

Perhaps this is the most exhilarating news for fans since his injury on the eve of his documentary’s trailer release. The trailer of “Tony Hawk- Until The Wheels Fall Off,” is out and the documentary will release on April 5th, 2022.

Tony Hawk slams those who question his appearance in the Oscars

Most of you might know Tony Hawk as the greatest skateboarder of all time. However, his reply to those who are questioning his participation in the Oscars is even more versatile than his skateboarding tricks. He tweeted, “If being in every ‘Jackass’ movie, ‘xXx,’ ‘Police Academy 4,’ and ‘Sharknado 5’ doesn’t qualify me to present at the Oscars, then your taste in movies needs readjusting,” Hawk tweeted, before adding, “(I’m presenting, btw).”

Well, the skateboarding legend certainly knows how to handle the media. Although there’s no specific criterion for choosing the presenters for one of the most prestigious award ceremonies in the world, still many question if sports celebrities are the right choice or not.

Tony is recovering from a serious injury

A couple of days ago, 53-year-old Tony suffered a serious femur injury. The doctors have suggested absolute bed rest, but he is eager to get back on his feet as soon as possible. In fact, the legend has even set a recovery goal for himself and he has pretty specific dates on priority.

Tony Hawk is a fighter. No injury or setback can keep him away from his love for skateboarding. Soon we’ll see him perform his insane tricks on the ramp once again. But first, we await a dazzling appearance on the most remarkable stage of cinematic history.
