Charles Hollis “Chuck” Taylor was the in-house player and basketball coach for the industrial basketball team of Converse. Taylor worked for the shoe manufacturing outfit and contributed his designs. The All Star shoes made by him still remain the highest-selling shoes produced by Converse. The company is set to release its latest skateboarding-inspired creation in South Africa in the wake of Women’s Month in South Africa.
