On July 19, Genesis Publication, in collaboration with Tony Hawk, posted a reel captioned, “We’re excited to announce that @tonyhawk will be signing and contributing to the upcoming limited edition book, In My Own Process by Bruce Lee.”. According to Genesis Publication, the book, In My Own Process, will be hand signed by the skateboarding legend.

The caption also gave a brief description of the book, stating it to be the “definitive book of his spectacular career.” While the reel posted by the publication provided some snapshots of Bruce Lee, Tony Hawk stated the significance of Lee?s famous quote “Be water, my friend.”

For the skateboarder, the quote means flowing with his surroundings and keeping his core self calm. However, it also means that the skater must rise to the occasion and be strong and fierce when needed. Moreover, in a conversation with the Publications, the skater admired the Little Dragon’s discipline and his commitment to his skill. Hawk stated, “Bruce Lee has inspired many skaters. He exemplified discipline and finding your own path to success while committed to doing something you love.”

Besides Hawk, Genesis Publication has also collaborated with Lee?s family to make the books as authentic as possible. The book will also be signed by Bruce Lee?s wife, Linda Lee, and his daughter, Shannon Lee.
