One of the finest skateboarders in sports history, Anthony Frank Hawk is currently struggling with an injury. The 54-year-old revealed to his fans in March 2022 that he had broken his femur. However, in a recent update, Hawk has finally given a positive update about his broken femur with good music.

Tony Hawk’s revelation is important as 14 days after his femur was broken, he uploaded a video of his skating. What was surprising was that the video showed Hawk, moving far away on skates from the same spot where he got that injury. The skater’s recent update put to rest all rumors and also revealed what Hawk is doing recently.

Skateboarding Champion’s recent update about his femur injury

Tony Hawk, through an Instagram story, gave an update about his femur injury. The story shows crutches and a walking stick, and the song being played is “I believe I can see the future.” This reflects how Tony will have to use these crutches and walking stick in the future. However, the choice of an energetic song reflects Tony’s positive attitude despite his femur injury.

The skating champion also shared a brief video clip of the DownHill Jam band playing at Casbah in San Diego. The Downhill Jam is Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater Cover band which has popularised the music from Hawk’s video series. This shows how Tony is upbeat and optimistic despite his femur injury.

In an Instagram post, Tony revealed how he got his femur injury on the day when the trailer of his documentary was about to be premiered by HBO. He also disclosed how he was trying to do a McTwist but fell short of speed.

Further speaking, Tony narrated his attempt to spin faster. Tony then described how all of a sudden, he felt the wall as opposed to being in the air for the twist. He then had a terrible fall. The skateboarding legend also mentioned that recovering from a broken femur will not be easy.
