It was made available for platforms like the PlayStation 2, GameCube, Xbox, and Game Boy Advance. The game was a fifth entry in the Tony Hawk’s gaming series. Neversoft were the developers of this game, which was published by Activision. Later, there were multiple upgrades of the game that were launched. Cut to 2023, and the game can get a possible makeover as the tech giant Microsoft is all set to acquire Activision.

Microsoft can close the deal worth $69 billion with Activision Blizzard on 18th July 2023, and by doing so, they will become the third-largest publisher of the game. This news was received wholeheartedly by the gamers. Among many games that are being re-invented, Tony Hawk’s Underground, or THUG, is one such game that the fans are urging to make a comeback. Underground is extremely popular amongst the fans as this virtual skateboarding experience is one of its kind.

Players are able to select their avatars from a list of professional skateboarders or they can even customize one for themselves.
