An incredible snowboarding career has finally ended for the legend Shaun White. In his final run at the Beijing Winter Olympics, the three-time Olympic gold medalist finished fourth in the halfpipe event. Although he didn’t expect his career to end on such a note after all his remarkable achievements, everyone is so proud of him for what he has contributed to the sport of snowboarding.

The first thing Shaun White did after coming back from Beijing was to fly to Los Angeles for a super bowl game. “I’m going straight to the Super Bowl,” said Shaun in an interview after his halfpipe event in the Beijing Winter Olympics.

Shaun White shared his super bowl experience
The 35-year-old was quite excited about the super bowl match as he has never been in an actual live game. He said, “I’ve never been, and I had it on my bucket list. I’ve never been to the Super Bowl because it’s always kind of during our time on the mountain and in our season. So like right away, I get to check something off my list.” ??
Finally, the legend experienced the vibe of being in a super bowl stadium. Sharing his experience of the match with Access he said, I think the highlight was when 50 cent did that like reverse crunch on it’s your birthday that was great. How long had he been up there no one will know?”?
The champion snowboarder is enjoying his time outside the sports for the first time in ages and he’ll surely start ticking other things off his bucket list soon.

Shaun leaves behind an incredible legacy
The name ‘Shaun White’ will be remembered forever. He is the person who has helped in defining the course of snowboarding that we see today and all that he has achieved and contributed to the sport is his legacy. After his retirement, the legend received wishes from the entire world.

The emotions everybody felt on his departure from snowboarding were pride and admiration. He is certainly one of those athletes who became greater than the sport itself.
