Tim O’Connell arrived at the frontier park with one sole aim of winning the bareback championship again at the Cheyenne Frontier Days. In third place was Trevar McAlester with 81 points and $1,224 in earnings.

If everything went according to plan and O’Connell maintained his form he will be the only rodeo to win “Daddy of ‘em All” for the record four times. O’Connell will also achieve another feat after winning the championship. He will be the only bareback rodeo to win the title for consecutive three times. The rodeo with a net worth of more than $2 million, had earlier won in 2021 and 2022. Currently, his position is sixth world ranking and is on the verge to qualify for his tenth National Rodeo Finals. His ultimate desire is to win the world championship for the fourth time.
