As reported by Rodeo News, the event was held recently in Shawnee, Oklahoma, this youth tournament boasted a hefty prize pool of over $320,000, motivating more than 315 participants from 35 states to showcase their talents. Among the 315 talented contenders, 11 remarkable youths etched their names in the annals of rodeo history as the shining stars of the 2023 IFYR.
Brooke Crenshaw – The All-Around Cowgirl Champion
Hailing from Colbert, Oklahoma, Brooke Crenshaw emerged as the All-Around Cowgirl champion, showcasing her prowess in multiple disciplines. Not only did she secure the number two spot in pole bending with an average of 62.722, but she also shone in breakaway roping, walking away with an impressive $4,650. A testament to her versatility, Brooke also clinched the coveted All-Around Cowgirl title, earning her over $8,000.
Mason Stueve – The All Around Cowboy
Representing Newton, Arkansas, Mason Stueve conquered the title of All Around Cowboy, leaving a trail of awe in his wake. With an average of 28.2 in tie-down, he clinched the runner-up position, while also securing the number two spot in team roping, showcasing his remarkable talent.

Collin Rolands – The Bareback Riding Champion
Childersburg, Alabama, boasted an exceptional bareback rider in Collin Rolands, who dominated the competition with an astounding ride of 79 in the first attempt, followed by a commendable 77 in the second. However, it was his game-changing ride of 81.5 in the final round that solidified his victory and earned him well-deserved acclaim.
Corton Brumley – The Steer Wrestling Champion
From Mocksville, North Carolina, Corton Brumley proved himself a force to be reckoned with in steer wrestling. His lightning-fast 4.8-second effort in the final round brought him the title, while his remarkable times of 3.9 seconds in Go-1 and 4.5 seconds in Go-2 showcased his exceptional skills. His well-deserved reward amounted to an impressive $4130.
