The 2023 PBR Teams Series Outlaw Days in Kansas City has witnessed an epic performance in game 2 of its day three events. The performance was delivered by none other than two-time PBR Bull Riding World Champion Jose Victor Leme. The Brazilian was participating in the event as a member of the Austin Gamblers Team.
His performance was hailed by the crowd at the arena. Bull riding is a dangerous sport but is exciting with an unspeakable adrenaline rush. The rider has to stay on top of a bucking bull for eight seconds. Jose is not new to it but has shown his skill once again at the event.
Jose Victor Leme stays till the 8-second buzzer beater

Jose is the known and respected name in the PBR circle. The two-time world champion arrived at the event with confidence. Jose started the event by scoring 86 on the previous day. He needed good points to cover the gap and qualify his team Austin Gamblers for the next round. This time it was Martini Houdini the bull with a 42.25 average score. Jose climbed on the bull and adjusted himself.
As the gate opened Martini Houdini tried its best to buck off the rider. It tried every trick and angle but Jose stayed on the bull like he was glued to it. He stayed there for eight seconds and when the buzzer beater went off he calmly climbed off the bull as if he would have stayed on for more time. The elated Jose ran towards his team members and hugged them. He had achieved the required target and his team qualified. Jose scored 87.5 points on this ride.
The crowd cheered the incredible performance of the rodeo. Everybody at the arena got up and was at the edge of their seats during his ride. The performance pulled by Jose is evidence of his skill and talent which helped him achieve the highest marks in his career.
Jose Victor Leme’s bull riding career

Jose Victor Leme was a professional footballer who played at a semi-professional level in Brazil. But, seeing the journey not going according to plan, he switched to bull riding and the rest is history. He started his career at PBR in 2017 where he finished the season at seventh position in world ranking. He was awarded the 2017 PBR Rookie of the Year, the same year that he won four of the thirteen events he entered and earned $459,927.
Later on, he upgraded his performance and gave tough competition to opponents ending 2018 and 2019 in second position in the world ranking earning $535,175 and $642,516. The next year he continued his performance and claimed the world championship in 2020. He repeated that feat in 2021. Jose’s current ranking is world number two and has 1051 points. He has 85 ninety-point rides in his entire career and has won 69 events till now.

Jose’s performance at the PBR Teams Series Outlaw Days reflects his talent and skills in the game. His current performance may lead to his third world title if continued throughout the year.
