This Fort Worth, Texas-based event again headlined the Cowboy vs. Bulls showdown this year, and the world witnessed some of the greatest beat-the-buzzer rides. During the thirty-fourth edition of the event this year, John Crimber continued his dreamy stint in the 2023 season and once again secured a commanding victory on Wednesday.

Just another day of rodeo brilliance for John Crimber

As per the reports from PBR, emerging bull riding prodigy Crimber secured a flawless 2-for-2 performance and clinched his ninth challenger event victory of the season. He was able to conquer Going Topless from the Cooper/Scruggs Bucking Bulls, and he nailed the ride, securing 86 points in Round 1 and managing to secure third place just before approaching the finals. Even during the preparation in the chutes, he entered the arena on Elkins 041 from Philip Elkins’ stock and held on to the animal, amassing a colossal 90-point ride.

Crimber’s spectacular performance not only matched his career high but also propelled him to the coveted numero uno spot on the leaderboard. With this, the Texas-based cowboy clinched his fourth victory at the weekly Stockyards Showcase. He also earned a significant 58.5 Challenger Series points, and he is now only 76.33 points behind the current leading Alan de Souza from Taubate, Brazil, in the Challenger Global standings. With this triumph, John Crimber just enhanced his remarkable season and added to his growing list of accolades.

The ultimate achievement for the cowboy

18-year-old Crimber, who entered the season as a rookie, has been magnificent since the beginning. In September, he reigned supreme at the Professional Bull Riders Stockton Invitational and claimed his sixth overall title of the season with a perfect 2-for-2 ride. The icing on the cake was that this young rising sensation has won rodeo events continuously in under a month since turning professional.

Later in the month, he once again gave an edge-of-the-seat performance during the challenger series at the Ruidoso Racetrack?s stands in New Mexico. Crimber scored a significant 85.5 points and secured a spot in the championship round. During the second round, he scored 82.5 points, making him the only rider to achieve a 2-for-2 performance.
