Conducted over several legs throughout the year, the ultimate showdown culminates at the PBR World Finals. As the dates for the 2024 Finals come out, rodeo enthusiasts have a lot to cheer about with the American hip-hop icon Kid Rock set to perform on the inaugural day.
Over 40 rodeos will go head-on in the 4-day-long finals, and the winner will ultimately secure $1 million in prize money. But if the breathtaking bull riding action wasn’t enough to lure you all in, the epochal ‘rock n rodeo‘ will surely entrap rodeo enthusiasts like bee to honey. This new twist also features iconic singer Kid Rock headlining the event and knowing the firebrand singer he is, his star wattage would ensure the event is a success.

In the latest update on Instagram, American rapper Robert James Ritchie, or Kid Rock, announced his arrival on the rodeo shores at the PBR World Finals in May 2024. “Who’s ready to ROCK N RODEO?!? It’s the biggest weekend in western sports as Kid Rock takes to the stage LIVE on May 17th at AT&T Stadium before the biggest names in rodeo are set to compete for $1 million dollars!”, Robert captioned the promotional post. The promo video also featured the song Never Quit by Kid Rock acting as a lilting cynosure.

The main event will headline the World Finals Unleash the Beast Championship on May 18-19 while the ‘Cowboy’ singer’s live show ‘Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo’ is scheduled on May 17 at the AT&T Stadium. While the event returns after a gap of 2 years to the iconic Texas stadium, Kid Rock’s show will bring in music aficionados and rodeo enthusiasts. Shortly after the musical inauguration, the rodeo teams will go head-on to snatch the million-dollar prize.

‘Cowboy, cowboy‘ will be the reverberating chants permeating the AT&T Stadium as Kid Rock cheers up bull riders to unleash their beasts. But before that, six teams, all headed by a legendary coach, will compete for the $1 million purse. All the teams will compete in a total of 6 events namely, barrel racing, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, and breakaway roping.

Unleash The Beast Finals will follow on the next day as 40 world-class riders look to get their hands on the coveted UTB Championship. Last year, Rafael Jose de Brito emerged victorious in the finals in Fort Worth. He won the Triple Crown of Rodeo after sweeping the World Championship, Rookie of the Year, and World Finals.
