The rodeo enthusiasts who want to enjoy the ideal rodeo-ness from the ideal situation, the next step of the PBR series is just the thing for them. The PBR (Professional Bull Riders) are making their way to Kentucky, Owensboro bringing their challenger series to the Sportscenter. Started in 2022, the PBR Team Series features eight teams of bull riders that represents different regions of the United States competing against each other. This competition has ten regular season events including eight held in their respective team’s hometowns.

The PBR Team series takes place from the summer to autumn every year. Taking its next step, the team series will be seen in Owensboro and the exciting part is that it is the competition’s debut here in this venue. Multiple positive considerations have been observed here at this venue by the authorities for the execution of the series.

The rodeo community excited with the next step of PBR series

Kentucky, Owensboro is welcoming the challenger series of the PBR team series with open arms on the 14th of October 2023. This center will be the last step of the PBR Challenger series and ironically enough, this PBR’s debut here at Owensboro. After this stop, the competition will make its way to the finals. The preparation for this competition has been well-planned, from the venue to the competitions, and the audience, everything has been ideally set.

According to the Owensboro Times, this Challenger Series season runs from May through October and is now about to end. the authorities are expecting it to end it with an ideal ending. They are expecting around 35 to 40 of the best professional bull riders to be in town. The participants in this series will try their best to attain as much points as possible for attaining their position in the finals that will be held in Las Vegas on the 19th of October 2023.

The authorities are extremely excited to bring the best rodeo experience to Kentucky. They chose the venue with complete consideration, from the surroundings to the availability, they kept an eye on everything. The RPE President Lance Yearby is expecting more than two million people to get involved with the series through national television.

The authorities express their thoughts about the series in Kentucky 

The Owensboro stop will be hosted by Rally Point events which is a non-profit veteran organization. Their motive is to raise funds for veterans and youth in the tri-state area. This group is referring the event to as the PBR Bulls and Ghouls making the entire event customized to Halloween. Yearby expressed his high expectations with the project, “We’re bringing the top-tier bull riding of the world to Owensboro.”

Yearby also added, “We’re talking Joao Ricardo Vieira and Bob Mitchell-it’s not your hometown rodeo or bull bash- it’s the real deal.” Usually the PBR prefers larger cities, but there was an optimistic factor about this venue. The main catch here was the agricultural and farming landscape that the community provides. In this event, all the money raised will directly be forwarded to the community. The entire percentage of earnings will go Owensboro to buy shoes for kids in need.
