Rodeo is a sport filled with adrenaline that keeps the fans on their toes. The sport, however, comes with its dangers and can take a turn for the worse sometimes. Recently, rider Tyler Bringham also suffered a gruesome injury while handling a bull at the event.

The 30-year-old star participating in a Wyoming event suffered serious injuries. After the horrifying incident, the bull rider decided to end yet another season due to an injury. Recently, the athlete shared this unfortunate news with fans through social media.

Tyler Bingham missed out on another chance to get into the National Finals Rodeo. The three-time National Finals rodeo qualifier sustained a gruesome injury in Sheridan, Wyoming, leading to a broken neck. On July 18 the athlete posted on Instagram to reveal the news. The 30-year-old rider revealed that while participating in the Sheridan Wyoming, he took a bad shot and sustained gnarly injuries. The athlete wrote in his caption, “I ended up breaking my C5, C6, and C7 in my neck, and now I’m waiting to find out what the next step towards recovery is.”

Further, Bingham expressed his sadness over not being able to compete in the national final for the past few years due to all the trials he has faced through painful injuries. However, the rider is still optimistic about making a strong comeback to the championship next year. Bringham ended his note with, “But I will come back stronger than ever thanks to everyone that has stood behind me this long!”

The 30-year-old professional bull rider had an incredible season this year, maintaining a rank of 24 worldwide. With the best game of his season at the Days of the Old West Rodeo event. In this two-day event from June 17–18, Bingham had his best score of the season of 89. Further, Tyler Bingham also won two rodeo championships this season, giving him a high chance of being in the top 15 riders participating in the Nationals Finals in December. But unfortunately, for the third consecutive year, Bringham will not be participating in the nationals due to injuries.

Bingham consecutively not participating in the Finals

Till 2020, Tyler Bingham was one of the top-tier bull riders in the world. The athlete secured his name on the top 15 list for three years, 2018–2020. However, in 2020, the athlete suffered gruesome injuries when a bull lost his cool at the nationals. The four-legged beast knocked Brigham unconscious upside down on his horn; further, the animal stomped on the rider’s chest and crushed his ribs. Bingham suffered bruised lungs, multiple broken bones, and a concussion and was taken to the ICU. Next year, the athlete suffered another injury, causing his 2021 nationals final season to end. The athlete could not participate in 2022 amid this injury as well.

This year, the athlete was back and truly gave his best. However, unfortunately, the athlete has to sit back and wait for another season to roll. Hopefully, next season, Bringham will make it to the Nationals safely and work his magic in the arena.
