Rodeo events are often looked at as a wild standoff between a rider and a raging beast. However, the sport stands for far more than a display of momentary bravado. The audience of a local rodeo event in Idaho hammered the point home by stepping forward for a noble cause. A social media post shared this news on Facebook and won everyone’s hearts.

The 89th iteration of Lewiston Roundup saw a great spectacle. But, the spectacle unfolded in the stands instead of the riding grounds. The rodeo event witnessed scores of spectators take a united front against a terrifying and nagging menace to society.

The Lewiston Roundup invited several talented riders to its 89th iteration to take on its impressive lineup of bulls and horses. The Idaho event witnessed several great performances by both riders and their rides.

While the riders delivered several eight-second rides, the mounts also bucked several riders off their backs. The highlight of the event, however, went to the earnest spectators of the rodeo event. The crowd cheered for the performances while being clad in pink. Several Idaho families lent their support to an organization fighting against breast cancer via public donations. The Lewiston Tribune shared the brilliant moment of solidarity on their official Facebook page.

The post carried a caption that said, “The crowd of 5,074 at the Lewiston Roundup Grounds was a sea of pink as attendees came to support the Gina Quesenberry Foundation — an organization that helps local families battling breast cancer — and watch the rodeo events.”

The Gina Quesenberry Foundation offered financial help of over $460,000 to several men and women of LC Valley. While the fans showed staunch support for the organization, their electrifying support also cheered up the rodeo participants. In fact, the participants said that he kept coming back to Lewiston Roundup for the spectators.
