He is a living legend in the sport with three world championships with the CBR and seven bull-riding world championships with the PRCA. Despite over 11 years of bull riding, the legend is showing no signs of stopping, and in 2024, he is already making waves as a full-timer at the PBR. However, to make the year 2024 all the more exciting, he is also making sure his almost two-year-old son, Steele Randall Kimzey, also follows in his cowboy footsteps.

In response to Bloomer Trailers’ post featuring the toddler, Sage Kimsey wrote in the comment section of the post, “👌🏼 Start em young” While his wife, Alexis Kimzey, in awe of her little one, added three red heart emojis in the comment section of the Instagram post. However, what could the icon mean by this statement?

Why did he say, “Start em young”?

In August 2016, Bloomer Trailers, known for its innovation and luxury in manufacturing horse trailers, announced a partnership with Sage Kimzey, who was the two-time reigning World Champion bull rider at the time. Kimzey, a legend even back then, became the face of Bloomer Trailers, representing the brand in the rodeo world. The CEO and owner of Bloomer Trailers, Randy Bloomer, expressed the significance of this deal with Rodeo icon sharing. “One of the reasons I admire Sage, is that he is a winner inside the arena but more importantly he is a great ambassador for the sport of rodeo.”

Bloomer highlighted Kimzey’s willingness to engage in charitable activities, such as visiting hospitals, making him an ideal representative for their brand. And to add to the already special moment, Kimzey also had a history with Bloomer Trailers, having been part of the Bloomer Trailers High School Rodeo Team in 2012. Bloomer Trailers aimed to leverage Kimzey’s influence to reach an untapped market in the industry, specifically targeting stock contractors. And Sage Kimzey’s role extended beyond being a brand ambassador, as he actively participated in marketing the company and represented it at over 100 rodeos annually. Even today, eight years later, Sage Kimzey continues to be a part of the Bloomer Trailers family, and the legacy has now extended to his little boy, Steele Randall Kimzey, as well.
