Sage Kimzey, widely considered the best of all time in the bull riding community, has returned to the sport. The seven-time PRCA world champion is returning to the NFR in 2023 after missing the 2022 season due to an injury. The guy who, throughout his time away, practiced being an excellent parent and spouse has returned to his eagerly waiting followers.

Alexis Kimzey, a famous journalist, and Sage’s wife, recently posted a beautiful photo on Instagram. The legendary cowboy’s doting spouse, who was just as excited as his legion of followers to see him compete again, is returning to the NFR this year after attending with their then-seven-month-old baby.

Fans were distraught when Sage, who had already won seven world championships, was injured and had to take time off. His devoted following had to wait more than a year for his return. Despite keeping them waiting, he delivered a display that was on par with what they saw before his break.

This time off allowed him to focus on being a doting parent to his kid. Alexis, his wife, shared a photo of their son Steele on her Instagram story yesterday. Steele, who is approximately a year old in the photo, is accompanied by his mother to the NFR. Steele was still in his mother’s womb the last time he went to NFR. Alexis told the tale in honor of the guest’s return for a second stay.

Alexis included the photo of Steele on her Instagram Story and said, “In case everyone is wondering, I made a clone.” Steele resembled a youthful version of Sage, which is why she made the comparison. Many people are unaware that little Steele often mimics his father, as seen by their Instagram stories. The fact that Steele follows in his father’s footsteps by going to bull riding contests makes the post that much cuter.

Her captions also include the words, “My second NFR, and now I am taking my second baby.” Alexis intended for this to reflect the fact that her kid accompanied her to both performances. Many people are moved by the family’s ability to come together and by the purity of their relationships with one another. Sage’s accident may have caused him grief, but he quickly got over it because of the closeness he gained with his family.

Sage had an optimistic view of the injuries, which many would say derailed his career. He may have lost out on the NFR and a chance at an eighth victory, but being a dad more than made up for it. His recovery from surgery allowed him to focus entirely on his new kid and his family. What he lost in the bull riding world, he made up for with recollections of his kid.

Alexis Kimzey’s Instagram post on their year-old son Steele’s visit to the NFR is full of cuteness.
