Bailey Taylor of the ‘It Girl’ podcast found that out the hard way. She had accused Portnoy of stealing ‘It Girl’ from her, following the rebranding of the ‘Chicks’ Instagram page.

Dave Portnoy was in Cary, Illinois, on October 27. Cary is a small town with a population of 18,000 and is usually not frequented by celebrities. The rumor mill began working overtime when Portnoy and Rachel Leviss were spotted in town that day. Leviss was seen at the Conscious Cup Coffee Cary.

Dave Portnoy finds the mention “insulting”

When approached by a Page Six journalist for comment on the pair’s presence in Cary on the same day, Dave Portnoy shut down the rumors swiftly. He took to X and wrote, “My official statement: I can confirm I’ve never met that trash bag in my life and it’s wildly insulting to even be mentioned in the same sentence as her. I was eating pizza at Uncle Jerry’s though, which was spectacular by the way, and got an 8.3.”

A few weeks after his trip to Cary, Dave Portnoy and longtime girlfriend Silvana Mojica called it quits. According to him, it was sheer coincidence he and Rachel Leviss were in the same town on October 27. He clarified he was there for a slice from Uncle Jerry’s Pizza Company and added the pizza joint got an 8.3 from him. One can not really contest his opinion when it comes to pizza.

A “sommelier of pizza”, according to Joe Rogan

Dave Portnoy’s love of pizza is no secret. Joe Rogan, on the Joe Rogan Experience, told an awestruck Elon Musk about Portnoy’s process for ranking the output of pizza establishments. Rogan shared that the self-styled El Presidente had a number system and a bunch of metrics to analyze every bite out of a slice.

Rogan had said, “He’s got like, a whole method. He’s got a number system. He’s into the crust and the flop and all these different things.” It is supported further by another fact. About 5,000 people showed up in the rain for the “One Bite Pizza Festival” he had organized. The event had brought a bunch of small pizza business owners into the limelight.
